How to install an eSIM in Mongolia

When should I install the eSIM?
Install it before you leave Mongolia, while you still have Wi-Fi. The installation itself never starts the package, so installing early costs nothing — the validity and the data start on the first connection abroad.
What if the QR code does not work?
Check that you are online while scanning and that you are on the right settings screen (iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM; Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM Manager → Add eSIM). If the code is rejected, open your order in My SIM and request the activation QR again, or call support with your order number.
Can I install an eSIM on a carrier-locked phone?
No. A carrier-locked phone cannot install a third-party eSIM, so ask your operator to unlock it first. To see whether the device itself supports eSIM, dial *#06#: if an EID appears, the hardware is ready.
