Does my phone support eSIM?
Dial *#06# on your phone. If the screen shows an EID, the device supports eSIM and can install a GlobalSIM travel eSIM. If no EID appears, the phone works with a physical SIM only — which we also sell, at our Ulaanbaatar branch or by delivery.
What is an EID?
The EID is the eSIM chip's own serial number, built into the device. The activation QR code is matched against it, which is why one eSIM belongs to one phone.
My phone has no eSIM support. What are my options?
Take a physical travel SIM: it is available at our central branch — Ulaanbaatar Railway Ticket Sales Centre, 2nd floor of the ticket office, open daily 09:00–20:00 — or by delivery inside Ulaanbaatar.
Should I check before buying a package?
Yes, always. One dial — *#06# — saves you from buying a package your phone cannot use. If you are unsure, call us and we will check the model with you.
